relatively small boarding community to live in historic
homes that have been converted to dormitories. The school's
mission to live and learn as a family is demonstrated by a
close-knit community that lives in a supportive atmosphere
in the dorms, has "family style" meals together, and explores
the wide range of cultural and natural opportunities in the
area, including opportunities to travel to Boston, New York
City, and other parts of New England. Many of the dorm parents also work as teachers and coaches
allowing students to build relationships with their dorm parents
in the classrooms and on the playing fields as well as in
the dorms.
