Adventure Camps

2008 Day Camp Dates:

Session 1: June 23-July 3

Session 2: July 7- July 18

Session 3: July 21- August 1

Session 4: August 4- August 15

In its 19^th summer, The Bement School will be offering summer programming for children ages 5-11 and a preschool program for children ages 15 months through 4 years. The preschool program will spend time both indoors and outside on campus while both the Junior Adventurers and Adventurers will be both on and off campus enjoying organized crafts, cooperative games, swimming, and hiking. They will explore local resources that Western Massachusetts offers; climbing hills and mountains, going on bike rides, boat rides, and bus rides. They will visit local lakes and beaches, go fishing, and explore our surroundings. Each summer offers new adventures. Come and join us for two weeks, four weeks, or maybe all eight weeks.

Adventure Camp

Located on the beautiful Bement School campus in historic Deerfield, MA; the Bement Adventure Camp offers a traditional day camp experience. Your child will participate in many activities to make his or her summer a memorable one. At the same time, parents can enjoy peace of mind knowing their child is in a safe and caring place.

Adventure Camp is a place where new and challenging adventures are undertaken with guidance and encouragement. Around every corner awaits friendly people and lasting friendships.

Here are just a few reasons why families all over the Pioneer Valley appreciate Adventure Camp:

• Low counselor to camper ratios --1:7 for Jr. Adventurers and Adventurers.

• An amazing staff! Many of our counselors are professional teachers. Some are also college students. All of our counselors share a love for adventure, learning, and children.

• 8:30AM - 3:30PM days with optional after-care programs available.

• $400 per 2-week session (Preschool/Jr. Adventurers/Adventurers)

• $450 per 2-week session if an enrichment program is added.

NEW! Preschool Program 15 months through 4 years old Bement has established a new addition to our summer offerings: perhaps your little one has an older sibling attending camp or maybe they’re headed to preschool in the fall. In any event, this day camp experience promotes social and emotional growth as well as learning through play and planned age-appropriate activities.
